BRIDGING THEORY AND PRACTICE: ENHANCING LEARNING THROUGH MEDIA TEXTS IN THE CLASSROOM
Abstract
Media literacy is a crucial skill in our modern society, enabling individuals to navigate the complexities of mass media with analytical and creative approaches. At the heart of media education lies the concept of media texts, dynamic units that facilitate communication within mass media frameworks. These texts, whether they are advertisements or news, carry socio-political, economic and cultural significance that audiences must decode.
