Abstract

this article is dedicated to considering the role and content of discursive competence in order to teach a foreign language. In it, the author examines the main models of communicative competence of a foreign language, scientific analyzes of discursive competence are presented, and the conceptual content of the terms "discursive competence" and "speech competence" related to communicative competence is deeply researched based on relative scientific approaches.
